Day Wise Itinerary

Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport , where you will be warmly welcomed by our representative. Proceed to Kandy, the historic hill capital of Sri Lanka’s last kingdom, with an approximately 3-hour scenic drive. Upon arrival, explore the highlights of Kandy and experience the vibrant Kandy Cultural Show in the evening, featuring traditional dances and cultural performances. Later, transfer to the hotel for check-in, relaxation and overnight stay in Kandy.

After breakfast, check out and continue exploring Kandy. Visit the iconic Temple of the Tooth Relic, one of Sri Lanka’s most revered Buddhist sites and home to the sacred relic of Lord Buddha (entry fee by guest). Continue to a Gem Museum, offering a glimpse into Sri Lanka’s renowned gemstone industry. Later, embark on a scenic journey towards Mirissa, approximately 6 hours away. En route, visit Galagedara Tea Factory, where you can discover the traditional process of producing world-famous Ceylon tea, enjoy a tea tasting and shop for fresh tea products. Continue with a visit to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, a sanctuary dedicated to rescued elephants. Proceed to Mirissa, check in at the hotel and enjoy an overnight stay.

Start your day early with an exciting whale-watching excursion in the waters of Mirissa. A packed breakfast will be provided, while the entry fee is payable by the guest. (Whale watching peak season generally runs from November to April.) After the marine adventure, explore the picturesque Coconut Tree Hill and Parrot Rock, two of Mirissa’s most photogenic coastal landmarks. Enjoy some leisure time by the beach or experience exciting surfing activities . Later, relax and soak in the lively atmosphere of Mirissa, known for its beautiful beachfront, restaurants and vibrant nightlife. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, check out and enjoy another memorable coastal experience in Mirissa with snorkelling and swimming with sea turtles . Later, proceed to Colombo, approximately 2.5 hours away. Explore the highlights of Colombo with a city tour covering Gangaramaya Temple (entry fee by guest) and popular shopping arcades, offering time to shop for souvenirs and local products. Later, proceed to Bandaranaike International Airport for your departure flight With wonderful memories of Sri Lanka’s culture, nature, wildlife and coastline, it’s time to bid farewell and return home.
