Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and begin your scenic journey to Kandy, the cultural heart of Sri Lanka. En route, visit the renowned Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, a unique conservation center dedicated to the protection and rehabilitation of orphaned and injured Asian elephants. Watch these majestic creatures being cared for and, depending on the timing, enjoy the sight of elephants bathing in the nearby river. Continue your drive through picturesque countryside landscapes before arriving in Kandy, a charming city surrounded by misty hills and centered around the serene Kandy Lake. After checking in to your hotel, relax and soak in the tranquil atmosphere of this UNESCO-listed cultural destination.

After breakfast, embark on a fascinating exploration of Kandy’s cultural and natural treasures. Begin with a visit to the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, Sri Lanka’s most revered Buddhist shrine, which houses the sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha and attracts pilgrims from around the world. Continue to the beautiful Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya, one of Asia’s finest botanical gardens, featuring over 4,000 species of plants, colorful orchids, towering palm avenues, and exotic tropical flora. Later, visit a Gem Museum to learn about Sri Lanka’s world-famous precious stones and gem-cutting traditions. In the evening, enjoy a captivating Cultural Show featuring traditional Sri Lankan dances, drumming performances, and spectacular fire-walking displays. Return to your hotel overnight stay in Kandy.

DAY 3 – BENTOTA (SOUTH COAST)Following breakfast, visit the scenic Hakgala Botanical Garden, one of Sri Lanka’s most beautiful gardens, known for its vibrant flowers, rare plant species, and breathtaking mountain backdrop. Thereafter, proceed towards Bentota on Sri Lanka’s stunning southwest coast. During the journey, stop at Kitulgala, a lush rainforest destination famous for its thrilling white-water rafting adventures and spectacular natural scenery. Adventure enthusiasts may choose to experience rafting amidst the picturesque surroundings. Continue to Bentota, a tropical paradise renowned for its golden sandy beaches, calm lagoon waters, and swaying coconut palms. After checking in to your hotel, enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure by the beach. Dinner and overnight stay in Bentota.

After breakfast, begin the day with an exciting Madu River Boat Safari through mangrove forests, small islands, and rich wetland ecosystems. Experience the unique charm of the river while visiting cinnamon-growing islands and enjoying the region’s natural beauty. Later, visit a Turtle Hatchery, where conservation efforts help protect endangered sea turtles and provide fascinating insights into their lifecycle. Thereafter, proceed to Colombo, Sri Lanka’s vibrant commercial capital. Upon arrival, enjoy a city tour showcasing the blend of colonial heritage and modern development. Pass through bustling commercial districts, historic landmarks, elegant residential areas, and notable attractions including the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH), a landmark gifted by China. You may also choose to visit the iconic Lotus Tower (optional), one of South Asia’s tallest structures, offering spectacular city views. Dinner and overnight stay in Colombo.
