Your tour guide and bus collect you from your hotel in the Old Quarterand you head to Tuan Chau in Halong City, following the new highwayout of Hanoi with a short rest stop along the way. Around noon, you'llreach Tuan Chau Harbor, where Cruise welcomes you aboard. After asafety briefing, you set sail on a scenic 5.5 to 6-hour journey through oneof the bay's most striking stretches, gliding past uninhabited islets andlimestone formations whose fanciful shapes have earned them local nameslike Cock Fighting Islet and Thumb Islet, while you enjoy a buffet lunchon board. Stepinto a round bamboo basket boat and glide through the Bay Mau waterpalms, where fishermen show you how to cast a net, leaf-weavers turncoconut fronds into hats, glasses and watches, and basket-spinning artisansput on a lively show of races, songs and folk tunes. Then it is into Hoi AnAncient Town for the Japanese Covered Bridge and a stroll along the Hoairiverbank past timber shophouses and glowing lanterns, with dinner in theold quarter as the town turns its most romantic. In the morning, your guide and driver collect you from your hotel and setoff for Ba Na Hills along one of the most beautiful coastal roads in CentralVietnam. On arrival, you ride the two UNESCO record-breaking cable carlines to the top of the hill, taking in Mo stream and Toc Tien waterfall withits dazzling white spray along the way. Sightseeing on Ba Na Hillsincludes: The Golden Bridge of Vietnam, held aloft by the Hand of theGods. The L'Jardin zone and its French architecture: Tinh Tam Garden, theFrench Stable, a hundred-year-old pomelo tree and the old villas. LinhUng Pagoda with its 27-meter Buddha statue, and Loc Uyen Garden.Around lunchtime, the second cable car line carries you from Debaystation up to Nui Chua Peak, the rooftop of Da Nang City, where lunch isserved. In the afternoon, next comes Fantasy Park, one of the most modernindoor game centers in Asia. You then visit Linh Chua Linh Tu temple andtake in the panoramic view of Da Nang city and its bay, often softened bymist on a romantic afternoon at the peak. Later in the afternoon, the cablecar brings you back down, where the coach is waiting for the drive to thecity center. Drop-off at your hotel at the end of the afternoon. End ofservices.
